3 Apr 2012 - Multidimensional Ranking book

It is our pleasure to introduce a recently published new book on ranking in higher education.

Unlike any other publication on ranking so far this new volume addresses ranking as a user-driven and multi-dimensional phenomenon, and draws crucial methodological and practical consequences from this perspective. By doing so this book offers a completely new focus on international ranking in higher education and suggests an approach to ranking that is both more attractive to various stakeholders and more fair to different types of higher education institutions.

This volume results from a major international feasibility study sponsored by the European Commission of which the outcome was that this new approach should be introduce and expanded at a global scale.
